Greg Weisman, who developed Young Justice alongside Brandon Vietti, provided the update on Phantoms. When asked for news about the upcoming season, Weisman revealed nine episodes are already complete, while several others are in various stages of production. Fellow DC series like Harley Quinn have also made the move over to HBO Max. This move didn't come as much of a surprise, as DC Universe has been rebranded as a comics-only subscription service. Then in September 2020, came the announcement Young Justice would be switching platforms again, this time trading DC Universe for HBO Max.

The main team is composed of familiar characters like Robin, Kid Flash, and Superboy, with many others appearing throughout the show's run thus far. The animated DC series is as it sounds and focuses on a group of teenage superheroes. Nine episodes of Young Justiceseason 4, Phantoms, are finished, with several more in production.
